The story of Bao Phan and Dennis Tran

When Bao Phan moved from Vietnam to Sweden in 2015, he was only 10 years old. Dennis Tran, whose family has run the Lilla Vietnam restaurant inside Mitt Möllan's food court for many years, took him under his wing and acted as an older brother and guide to Sweden as a country. When young sneaker enthusiast Bao started his Instagram-based online store, South Soles, in 2019, it was a success. Bao and Dennis share the dream of running a store and building their future.

"We have contacts in the sneaker world that give us access to limited models and shoes that otherwise don't even come to market, we want our customers to have the opportunity to take part in this range," says Bao Phan, one of the owners of South Soles".

"We want to open a store here in southern Sweden because this is home, it's where we come from and where we've always dreamed of opening a store," says Dennis Tran, the other owner of the store.

Our Products and Future Plans

The store will mainly sell new sneakers and clothes, but also second-hand clothes. We offer second-hand unisex fashion from brands such as Off-White and Moncler. We are currently investigating how to work with commissions. There are many ideas about how the store and the company will develop; we are considering custom jewelry or our own fashion collection. With these young entrepreneurs, it can become an empire.
